Kansas City Extension Study: Opportunity for Economic Mobility
The Kansas City Streetcar Authority is looking at possible routes spanning east and west. When construction is complete along Main Street, the streetcar will take passengers from Union Station to the University of Missouri — Kansas City. A new study will look at extending its route east and west from the Truman Sports Complex to the University of Kansas Medical Center. This would be a fourth extension of the city’s streetcar line which first began service in 2016.
