Kansas City Here We Come
A Movement That Transcends
Once again, Kansas City is showing us the way.
The New York Times recently visited Kansas City and attributed the city’s energy and growth to the streetcar:
“…miraculous urban revitalization: thriving businesses in storefronts that stood vacant for years; gleaming new high-rise apartment blocks that are largely (some say entirely) rented out even before they’re completed; vibrant arts and culinary scenes.”
“What really makes it distinct is the palpable sense that is more than just a way of moving people around: It’s a movement – one that, judging by the crowds riding on weekends, transcends age and ethnicity.”
We’ve shared this story on our social media – please share it with your friends and on your channels, too.
We can’t wait until Omaha gets this kind of praise and attention – and revitalization.
